Holland Farmers Market’s Indoor Winter Market Returns to the Civic Center This Saturday, January 15

After a year-long hiatus due to Covid, the Holland Farmers Market’s Indoor Winter Market will return to the Holland Civic Center Place, located at 150 West 8th Street in Downtown Holland. The Indoor Winter Market will be held Saturday, January 15 from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm and will continue the first and third Saturdays from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm in February, March, and April. Bridge Cards, Double Up Food Bucks and Market Bucks will all be accepted during the Winter Market.

“We are excited to be able to move our Winter Market back indoors this year and continue offering fresh, healthy, and local foods to new and returning Holland Farmers Market customers all season long,” said Marketing Coordinator Kara de Alvare. “Being able to get your fresh fix while shopping inside the warmth and comfort of the Holland Civic Center Place really can’t be beat.”

Over 25 vendors will be participating in the Indoor Winter Market throughout the season, providing customers with a wide product assortment of fresh produce and specialty foods and beverages. Among the products being offered are winter and greenhouse grown fruits and vegetables, bread and other baked goods, honey and maple syrup, jams, meat, cheese spreads, dog treats and much, much more. Lemonjello’s will also be serving coffee onsite for early morning market goers.

As always, shopping early in the day is always recommended for the best product assortment. Patrons are reminded to bring cash for all transactions, though an onsite ATM is available for those that need it. The Civic Center lobby will be closed during the Indoor Winter Market, but restrooms are available from the exterior of the building. No dogs (with the exception of service animals) are permitted inside the Civic Center. Masks are not required, but they are highly recommended.
