Grand Haven Main Street Light Night Happening on November 19th

Starting at 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. November 19th, the Grand Haven Main Street District provides the perfect backdrop of brilliant lights and holiday cheer to kick off the annual holiday shopping season. We are also happy to be welcoming back “Steel Doin’ It” a steel drum band will be performing your favorite holiday songs next to Jumpin’ Java! Retail stores throughout the Main Street District will host open houses with special holiday treats and festive activities for all ages.

“Light Night is a yearly tradition where our merchants and residents alike come together and welcome in the holiday season,” said Jeremy Swiftney, Executive Director of Grand Haven Main Street. “Besides hot cocoa and Christmas cookies, you can wander through our charming Downtown or Centertown areas while listening to holiday music, and sampling treats at different retail stores, all while finding the perfect holiday gifts for your list this holiday season. It’s Grand Haven at its finest.”

Limited edition 2021 re-usable holiday shopping totes will be handed out by our sponsored businesses at: Aldea, Bekins, Borr’s Boots, Calico Cat, Fortino’s, Great Harvest, J-Dubs Wine Market, Jumpin’ Java, Peace Frogs, Side Bar, Silver Fire Studios, Surf Shop, Tenden, and That Hat, as well as on the streets that evening. Be sure to shop early, there are only 1,000 to be had!

We are also pleased to be partnering with local coffee shops Aldea, Jumpin’ Java, and Odd Side’s Dide Bar for a special hot cocoa deal at Light Night. Each location will be offering a free children’s hot cocoa with the purchase of an adult sized drink, so be sure to bring the family and enjoy the lights, music, and FUN!
