Gilmore Car Museum to Hold Southwest Michigan’s Largest Princess and Superhero Event Saturday, March 25th

Cars & Characters: Princesses, Villains, & Superheroes is a special event at the Gilmore Car Museum which combines the magic of interacting with classic storybook and comicbook characters, with an introduction to our impressive indoor display of more than 400 classic cars. Cars & Characters activities will run from 11:00am – 4:00pm ET on Saturday, March 25th, 2023. Tickets are on sale now.

Cars & Characters will excite and delight young royalty and aspiring superheroes alike with the opportunity for memorable photo ops with over TWENTY different storybook princesses, villains, and comicbook characters, taken alongside majestic carriages, regal coaches, limousines, and enchanting backdrops.

Guests will also enjoy a variety of activities during their visit. Storytime with Belle and Gaston will feature a magical tale read by Belle, or you can participate in Princess Training with Cinderella and her stepsisters. If superheroes are more your style, Spiderman will also be leading Superhero Training sessions. Activities will happen every thirty minutes on a first come, first served basis and can accommodate up to 50 guests at once.

“We enjoy hosting our princess and superhero days at the Gilmore because they offer a unique opportunity to engage children through their own interests, while also introducing them to automotive history and our collection,” said Josh Russell, Executive Director of the Gilmore Car Museum. Characters will be available for photo opportunities throughout the event, which will be taken in front of special luxury vehicles from the Gilmore collections, including the 1931 “America’s Sweetheart” Ford Model A, a 1959 Cadillac limousine, and many more.
