Fun Events in West Michigan for Fall – September 19, 2021

Fall officially starts on Wednesday, and cooler weather is on its way! With the arrival of the new season, we talked to our friends at FOX 17 to share some fun, fresh events for everyone around West Michigan.


Fallasburg Art Festival

You can still catch the final day of the Fallasburg Arts Festival in Lowell on Sunday, September 19. The festival runs from 10am until 5pm, right in Fallasburg Park. This year marks the 53rd event presented by LowellArts, featuring over 100 fine art and fine craft artist booths. Enjoy food booths supporting local non-profit organizations, a children’s craft area, free pumpkins, and more!

34th Annual Creative Arts Festival in Otsego

The 34th Annual Creative Arts Festival is taking place next Saturday, September 25th in Otsego. The festival features the “Art Thing” contest, as well as a motorcycle and car show, parade, arts & crafts vendors, an alligator sanctuary and nature center, and more!

Color Chairlift Rides at Shanty Creek Resort

Enjoy a spectacular 360 degree view of the fall colors from the blue chairlift high atop Schuss Mountain. This roundtrip ride at Schuss Village will have you admiring Antrim County’s spectacular color show.
