Family Health Center (FHC) will be on location at Air Zoo to provide the first dose of FREE Pfizer-BioNTech vaccines
In an effort to end COVID-19 in the Kalamazoo community, many organizations like FHC and the Air Zoo are partnering and finding innovative ways to incentivize people to do their part to stop the pandemic.
“The opportunity to partner with FHC was a no-brainer,” says Troy Thrash, Air Zoo President & CEO. “We love and celebrate science every day at the Air Zoo . . . we are proud to be able to support our community in this way!”
Thrash adds that participants “will receive a free pass to come back and experience the Air Zoo when it works best for them — a small token of our appreciation for doing their part.”
Community-based health centers like FHC continue to provide services throughout their communities by meeting people where they are. “We must go to any location where we can help a greater number of people who still need vaccinating,” says Denise Crawford, FHC’s President & CEO. She adds that “it is so important for all of us in Kalamazoo to become vaccinated, and we really love when compelling places like the Air Zoo offer great incentives. It’s a win-win for everyone!”
Residents are encouraged to make appointments for the June 25th event by either calling the FHC COVID-hotline at 269-488-0804 or going online at familyhealthcenter.timetap.
To date, FHC has provided more than 8,900 COVID-10 vaccines to the Kalamazoo Community.
