Join us for a sunset cruise on Aquastar in support of Read Muskegon!

Tuesday evening, August 20, The University of Michigan Lakeshore Alumni Club invites you to join an evening cruise aboard Aquastar, with all proceeds to benefit Read Muskegon. What better way to support this vital organization than by joining likeminded citizens while enjoying the beauty of Muskegon’s lakefront, its many scenic locations and a Lake Michigan sunset! Adult beverages will be available on board (credit or debit card only, please) accompanied by hearty hors d’oeuvres catered by The Hearthstone.

In addition to our support for all University of Michigan programs, students and students’ families, the Lakeshore Alumni Club’s primary community service mission is local literacy programs. Read Muskegon has a long and very successful track record of increasing literacy among adults and young people and we are delighted to host this event in support of its programs.

Cruisers should arrive at the Aquastar dock by 7 PM for a 7:30 departure and expect to return about 10 PM. While good weather is anticipated, Aquastar has plenty of cover so we’ll cruise rain or shine!
