This is the 5th annual Salmon Run!! This years event will include a 5K, 10K and 1 mile family fun walk. This event is associated with the Grand Haven Salmon Festival and organized by the The Momentum Center for Social Engagement. We are excited to continue the "Green" theme of the overall festival and make the Salmon Run to eRace Stigma 5K ,10K, and FREE 1-Mile walk all zero-waste-to-landfill events.

Both the 5K and 10K Salmon Run to eRace Stigma courses are challenging with varied terrain, and offer the beautiful scenery of Lake Michigan and the city of Grand Haven.

Not interested in running or walking? Volunteer on the course to help direct runners/walkers and keep everyone safe.

Proceeds from this event will benefit The Momentum Center for Social Engagement in Grand Haven. The Momentum Center offers social and recreational activities for people with mental illness, addictions and disabilities. No referral or clinical diagnosis is necessary. Monthly calendars are available and everyone is invited to stop in and see what it's all about. Membership costs just $1 per year and allows individuals to participate in all scheduled activities and events. Occasionally there might be an optional activity that requires a small nominal charge.

Within the Momentum Center there is a pool table, air hockey table, Wii, board games and a computer bay. The Momentum Center offers classes in art, exercise, breathing, and self-development. It also arranges offsite events and activities and provides transportation so that individuals can participate in Extended Grace events and Town Hall Meetings.

The Momentum Center is also a place for anyone to learn about resources within the community.
