Join us in Father Marquette Memorial Park for the Annual Rendezvous at the Straits Powwow. This traditional gathering draws it's name from the Straits area being a common meeting place or Rendezvous Point for the past several hundred years, dating back to our origins in the early 1600's. This Powwow is different than other because it represents a meeting of all tribes rather than just one. Enjoy traditional Native American dancing, drum circles, and pipe music, and singers, along with cultural crafts and homemade items for purchase.
