This event brings previous visitors and newcomers alike out to Creek Ridge County Park! It’s a unique and educational visit to a very different time on our country’s history, filled with tons of activities.

As visitors enter the park they will encounter a taste of pioneer history and smell the aroma alike. You will see historically dressed vendors, offering various goods to bring you back to this different era in American history. The various interactive offerings include candle-dipping, bracelet or necklace building, and ceramics, letting you experience first-hand what it was like to be a pioneer and the skills needed to live in the past.

While visiting with historically clad vendors as they tell stories and showcase their pioneering skills. Enjoy the many Pioneer demonstrators such as wood working and quilters. We have new activities to try your hands at like weaving, log cabin building and so much more.

If you just want to take in the scenery of this beautiful 96 acre park you can go on a horse-drawn wagon ride or enjoy many of the delicious foods being offered like fresh apple butter, kettle corn, ham and beans and other foods and snacks.

You and your family will enjoy many hands-on activities that are both fun and educational like picking your favorite pattern and make your own tin punch design. This family fun affair is so much more than short time past it is a great family lifetime memory.

Pioneer Days will be open from 10am to 4pm on both Saturday and Sunday. An admission fee is paid at the gate–$2 for adults, $1 for children or seniors, 4 and under is free.
