BYO Blanket and help us make the largest picnic Fennville has ever seen!

Spend a great summer day with us for our Field Day and Orchard Picnic! Bring your own picnic blanket, and we’ll bring the food and cider.

A day filled with outdoor fun, foraging, and 3-course seasonal meal by Abra Berens, chef at Granor Farm and author of the new cookbook, Ruffage.

Reserve your plates for dinner and book a special foraging tour in advance.

Full Day's Activities:

*1pm - Kickball - Free

First come, first play. Come with your team and sign up at the Bottle Shop. We'll manage the games old-school pick-up style based on the numbers we get. All ages, no advance sign ups.

*2:30pm, 4:30pm - Foraging Tours - $15 adults, $5 kids

Amanda Cinco-Hoyt, Co-Founder of the Color Wheel in Detroit will be leading a 45-minute foraging experience on our property. She’ll guide you through plant identification and use, and we’ll provide you a field notebook to sketch new observations with. Your tour will wrap up with found-object stamping and time to decorate your field notes. Tour includes 45-minute tour, notebook, and cider (n/a cider for under 21).

*5-8pm - Orchard Picnic - $25 adults, $10 kids

Chef Abra Berens of neighboring Granor Farm will prepare a 3-course meal or early season harvests and crops from Virtue Cider's Chef Garden. Bring a picnic blanket, grab your plate starting at 5pm, and enjoy a picnic on our lawn.
