Muskegon Community Paddles are free monthly paddles utilizing various Muskegon county waters. Open to anyone with a paddleboard, kayak, canoe or other paddle craft. Meet other paddlers and explore a section of a lake or river in Muskegon county with a 2 hour guided paddle. All participants must have a U.S. Coast Guard approved personal flotation device(pfd). Meet at 8am, paddle from 8:30-10:30am. Those without a paddle craft can rent a kayak or paddle board from Guy's Ultimate Kayak Service for only $5. This months paddle on the Muskegon River will highlight the new wetlands created at the old Zepheyr oil refinery. It also ends at the Veteran's Memorial park which was also restored last year.
