Colonial Michilimackinac was the hub of the northern fur trade in the 18th century. The Great Lakes were like the interstate of today, and the location of Michilimackinac allowed traders to get to all points on the Great Lakes and to other points in the Midwest and to the East Coast. This special event will focus on Michilimackinac's Maritime History. Regular general admission required - all special programs included with regular admission.
