Each spring and fall at least 4,000 bird species migrate thousands of miles with some birds flying as many as almost 50,000 miles in one year! But without a GPS unit, how do birds know where to go? Join Jen Owen, Associate Professor of Fisheries and Wildlife at Michigan State University, as she describes how birds navigate using the night sky and the demands and stress of migration on bird health. Please register by September 25 to reserve a lunch.
