Technology has always had the ability to advance science, but drones (or unmanned aerial vehicles) are taking scientists to new heights. Today, drones are being used to monitor rivers, predict flooding, study volcanoes, map archeological sites, and monitor animals. Join Professor Darren Proppe of Calvin College as he describes his use of drones for locating songbird nests in Michigan. Please register by June 12 to reserve a lunch.
