The Grand Rapids Youth Symphony and Classical Orchestra, under the direction of John Varineau, Associate Conductor of the Grand Rapids Symphony, will present their final concert of the 2017-2018 season on Sunday, May 6, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at DeVos Performance Hall (303 Monroe Avenue NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49503).

The performance will feature the winners of the 2018 Skip Gates Concerto Competition. Jackson Erne, accompanied by the Classical Orchestra, will perform Vivaldi’s Concerto in G Minor for Violin and String Orchestra. Karl Falb, accompanied by the Youth Symphony, will perform Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto in D Major. The Youth Symphony performance will also include Fountains of Rome and Pines of Rome by Ottorino Respighi.

Concert tickets ($6 adults; $4 students/seniors) are available online and at the door.
