One of the greatest songwriters in the history of pop/rock music, Paul McCartney’s songs have been covered by hundreds of recording artists. But after John Pizzarelli sat in with him on his Grammy Award-winning album Kisses on the Bottom, McCartney personally asked the jazz guitarist and singer to perform and record Sir Paul’s post-Beatles songs. Hear jazz-flavored covers of McCartney songs including Maybe I’m Amazed, Silly Love Songs and No More Lonely Nights as you never heard them before. 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Sept. 21-22, 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 23, in DeVos Performance Hall, 303 Monroe Ave. NW.
