Trumpeter and vocalist Byron Stripling, who plays like Louis Armstrong and sings like him, too, returns to DeVos Performance Hall with a little ragtime from Scott Joplin and Jelly Roll Morton, and a bit of the blues from B.B. King and Muddy Waters. Enjoy entertaining tunes plus humorous tales about the music and its creators in a show ending with an unforgettable toe-tapping jam session. 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Jan. 25-26, 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 27, in DeVos Performance Hall, 303 Monroe Ave. NW.
