Mark your calendars! Fremont's Annual Harvest Festival begins Thursday, September 23rd!

Fremont’s 2021 Fall Harvest Festival takes place on September 23rd - 25th with a celebration of our farming heritage.  The Harvest Festival is a great fit for Newaygo County and fills a niche with the agricultural community.  It’s the one time of year dedicated to antique tractors, simple games and a parade full of farm equipment.  The Harvest Festival parade features over 120 entries and continues to grow each year!

Hay Art continues to grow with an average between 50 to 60 creations that are located throughout the community.  Hay Art draws numerous visitors from all over West Michigan.  Hay Art is simply a display made using hay to represent your business, an animal or some other item.  Since the beginning of Hay Art competition, which has now been over nine years, the Fremont Chamber of Commerce has donated over 47,000 pounds of food to True North Community Services’ Food Pantry.  Votes for hay art are placed by donating canned goods to your favorite display.  The display with the most food collected per pound is the winner!

Be sure to enjoy the Harvest Festival Grand Parade on Thursday, Pumpkin bowling, peddle pull races, Antique tractor show, 5 k run, and Saturday Fun day in the Park which features multiple kids games and activities!

Mark your calendar now to join us for the Fremont Harvest Festival and let us work our magic on you during this special time of year!
