Downtown Elk Rapids has their chili pots simmering in preparation for the 2019 Downtown Chili Cook-Off, Saturday, February 16, 2019. Last year saw the launch of a great event and we look forward to a repeat this year.
The event will be held Saturday, February 16, 2019, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Tickets will be $5.00 on the day of the event, or buy in advance and save! Tickets go on sale February 4 and will be available at the Elk Rapids Area Chamber of Commerce, Nifty Things, Cellar 152, and the Elk Rapids EZ Mart.
Get your taste buds ready to sample each competing chili prepared by your favorite Downtown Elk Rapids Merchants and Restaurants. Once you’ve tried them all, cast your vote for fan favorite!
The chili maker with the most votes will be awarded a People’s Choice wall plaque to display for mad street cred for years to come. Will 2018 winner Cellar 152 be able to hold the title, or will a new Chili Champion be crowned? The decision is up to you!
