The Harbor Springs Area Historical Society is pleased to announce a call for entries for our summer 2019 juried art exhibit, Harbor Springs: Then and Now. Artists are invited to create artwork which illustrates their interpretation of a moment in the rich history of Harbor Spring. Pieces can depict an event, person, landscape or another aspect of our community’s heritage—past, present or future.

This year, applications are being accepted online only. This includes uploading a photograph of your completed artwork and an artist statement directly to the application form. A (free) Google account is required to apply.

Applications are due by June 1, 2019. Please read the application guidelines before starting the application. Our juror, Heidi Marshall, will select the pieces which will be displayed and will also choose first, second and third place winners to receive cash awards. 

The exhibition will open to the public at the Shay Hexagon House on July 26, 2019.
