West Michigan Tourist Association (WMTA) is excited to welcome its new Marketing Manager, Nikki Tramper, to the team.

Nikki grew up in Cedar Springs, MI, and earned her Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Marketing at nineteen through Davenport University. She is joining our team after six years of working in the communications and marketing space with companies such as Corewell Health, Serendipity Media, and POD Marketing. With strengths in organic social media and cohesive marketing campaign management, she is excited to be on the WMTA team to lend her skills to the partners and area organizations. Nikki is eager to showcase what West Michigan has to offer.

Nikki is thankful for the opportunity to share the unique brands, businesses, and events that truly craft an experience that can only be found in West Michigan. “Michigan has such a rich blend of cultures that bring people together like I have never seen before. With this mixture of heritage comes celebration, and Michigan truly loves to throw a good festival—from the Lakeshore Art Festival to the Grand Rapids Asian-Pacific Festival, there is always a good time to be had. I am deeply grateful to live where there are continuous opportunities to see the world without leaving our little ole’ mitten,” she shared enthusiastically.

Nikki shared with us that her favorite season is autumn, saying, “I love the moments I get to spend with family at orchards and baking the delicious desserts that are critical to the true fulfillment of the cooling days!”

Nikki will be working with press releases, trade shows, social media content, newsletter creation, and editorial writing. For any questions or information regarding the West Michigan Tourist Association, she can be contacted at Nikki@WMTA.org or (616) 245-2217 ext. 105.
