This year’s theme Jurassic Museum celebrates the museum’s ongoing Dinosaur Bones exhibit. Attendees will enter the Mesozoic Era and enjoy dino-mite dishes by Savory & Spice Catering, drinks with friends at the Bedrock Bar, and dancing at the Asteroid Attack Nightclub.

The annual fundraising gala supports museum programs, preservation, and exhibits at all five sites of the Lakeshore Museum Center family. The evening includes a silent auction, the chance to support giving boards, and contribute to bus grants.

“The Lumber Baron’s Ball is one of our most anticipated events of the year,” said Executive Director Melissa Horton. “We appreciate the museum patrons and supporters who join us for this fun evening of socializing, while also supporting the museum’s programs and impact in the community.”

Our exhibit, Dinosaur Bones with Paleo Joe,  allows visitors to experience dinosaur bones up close and personal and offers a glimpse into an ancient world where dinosaurs roamed the Earth, and Paleo Joe will be on hand during the event to interact with guests. Attendees will alos have the change for a photo op with a Jurassic Park vehicle, and other special dinosaur surprises.
