Relive the sound and style of the world famous Doobie Brothers, as Tibbits Entertainment Series present the tribute band Doobie Others Saturday, January 27 at Tibbits Opera House.

American rock band Doobie Brothers formed in 1970 performing for five decades, across numerous genres, with their exceptional harmonies to become Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees in 2020.

Seven of Long Island’s top professional musicians have pooled their talents, years of performance experience, and their love of the Doobies to become the very best Doobies tribute show in the country today. Inspired by the Brothers superior song writing, the Doobie Others deliver powerful harmonies and a fun filled high energy performance covering a catalog of Doobies hits spanning both the Tom Johnston and Michael McDonald eras. The Doobie Others masterfully play them all, from Listen to the Music to What a Fool Believes, from Long Train Running to Minute by Minute, from Black Water to Takin’ it to the Streets, and all the rest. If you have a favorite Doobies tune, it will surely be included in the show. It’s great entertainment for all ages.

Tickets for Doobie Others range from $29-$52 including fees, with discounts available for Tibbits members. For those who want the flexibility to stand during parts of the show Tibbits offers seating in an “On Your Feet” section. All tickets are available at Tibbits.org, by calling 517-278-6029 or stopping at the Tibbits office at 93 W. Chicago St.

The performance begins at 7pm; doors open for seating at 6:30 pm. It is held at the beautiful historic Tibbits Opera House, 14 S. Hanchett Street, in Coldwater. To add to the Tibbits experience, the Ghost Light Bar is open before the show and at intermission. Patrons are also invited to view the current art gallery exhibit or the historic exhibit displays throughout the theatre.
