The Grand Rapids Downtown Market is welcoming the community to enjoy summer evenings downtown with their brand-new event, Summer Sounds Under the Shed, an outdoor music series taking place on June 13, July 18, and August 22 from 5pm to 8pm.
Hosted under the outdoor Market Shed, Summer Sounds Under the Shed brings together live music, local food, drinks, and community. Guests are invited to gather with friends and family, enjoy dinner from Market Hall merchants, and spend the evening listening to live music in the heart of downtown Grand Rapids.
Live performances from Chris Cranick will take place during the June and July events, with August entertainment to be announced soon. Visitors can grab a cocktail, mocktail, beer, or other beverage from the Market Bar and relax under the Shed while enjoying the music and summer atmosphere.
Each Summer Sounds Under the Shed event will also serve as a pre-show destination for concerts at the Acrisure Amphitheater. Guests can park at the Market, enjoy dinner and drinks, and take the free shuttle to the amphitheater for an easy and stress-free concert night experience.
Guests are encouraged to come hungry and take advantage of before-show bites from Market Hall merchants. Whether stopping in for a full meal, snack, or dessert, visitors can enjoy daily features and Market staples.
Even for those not attending a concert, Summer Sounds Under the Shed offers a fun and easy way to enjoy warm weather, good company, delicious food, and live music all summer long.
