The Muskegon Heritage Museum of Business and Industry is bringing back its popular Community Days series, and this season, it's all about how Muskegon moves.

On one Saturday each month from May through October, the museum opens its doors completely free to the public from 11 AM to 4 PM. Each event is themed around a different mode of transportation, tracing the roads, rails, ports, and skyways that shaped Muskegon County's growth.

2026 Community Days Schedule

  • June 6: Trucking

"Muskegon's story has always been shaped by how people and goods moved through it, and these community days bring that story to life," said Muskegon Heritage Museum of Business and Industry Site Manager Kirk Bunke.
