Experience the evolution of Muskegon’s transportation history through the upcoming Planes, Trains, and Automobiles Walking Tour.
Join us for the first tour, 6-7:30 PM, Wednesday, March 25, to learn about the trains, trolleys, depots, car dealerships, and aviation from Muskegon’s past. This tour will be over several city blocks and may include some uneven surfaces.

“This tour brings Muskegon’s transportation history out into the streets where it actually happened,” said Program Manager Pat Horn. “From trolleys and trains to early automobiles and aviation, it’s a chance to see how transportation influenced the way the city developed and how people experienced everyday life.”
The Planes, Trains, and Automobiles Walking Tour will run until May, with the following dates:
