Step behind the scenes to uncover the secrets of the Hackley and Hume houses like never before. The Hackley and Hume Historic Sites invite you to an All Access Tour, offering an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at areas rarely seen by the public.

This unique experience grants visitors access to attics, basements, and porches—sections not included in the classic tour. Along the way, guests will hear captivating stories about the Hackley and Hume families, discover details of ongoing restoration projects, and learn about exciting new research that sheds light on the history of these remarkable homes.

“This tour is perfect for history enthusiasts who want to dive deeper into the Hackley and Hume families and their houses,” said Muskegon Historic Sites Director Erin Schmitz. “It’s a rare opportunity to see what’s behind closed doors and gain a better understanding of how these historic homes are preserved.”

The All Access Tour can be taken on:

● Friday, April 18, from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m.

● Friday, June 13, from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m.

● Friday, September 12, 7:30 to 8:30 p.m.

The All Access Tours will take place at the Hackley & Hume Historic Site, with check-in at the City Barn, located behind the homes. Free parking is available on Webster Avenue and 6th Street. Tickets are $20 for non-members and $15 for members, and space is limited, so advance registration is encouraged. To secure your spot, register online at zeffy.com/en-US/ticketing/all-access-tour
