Krasl Art Fair on the Bluff

📍St. Joseph | July 12–13 | Free Entry

This is one of West Michigan’s most beloved summer events, and it’s back again with over 170 artists from across the country. Held along Lake Bluff Park in downtown St. Joseph, the Krasl Art Fair is the perfect blend of handmade beauty and breathtaking views.

Originally a simple clothesline-style art show, this event has blossomed into a juried showcase featuring ceramics, paintings, fiber art, jewelry, and more. Add in the sweeping backdrop of Lake Michigan, food trucks, live music, and a free shuttle service from St. Joseph High School, and you’ve got an art-filled weekend that feels like summer at its finest.

The Power of Pollinators – John Ball Zoo

📍Grand Rapids | July 14 – November 23 | Included with Admission

What do chocolate, apples, coffee, and sunflowers have in common? Pollinators! And now you can come face-to-face with them in a whole new way at John Ball Zoo’s newest exhibit: The Power of Pollinators.

This interactive experience brings over 20 larger-than-life animatronic pollinators to life, helping you explore how bees, butterflies, and other hard-working heroes keep our food systems running. It’s fascinating, immersive, and a great way for families and nature lovers to learn just how vital these creatures are to our planet.

Included with regular zoo admission, the exhibit runs through November 23—but we say don’t wait! It’s a wild and wonderful way to celebrate science, sustainability, and the secret world of nature’s busiest workers.
