“If You Knew Suzy Like We Knew Suzy…” with Jania Taylor
Feb 25 @ 7 pm on Zoom

Magician and speaker, Jania Taylor, delves into the story of famous female sleight of hand artist, Suzy Wandas (1896-1986), through interviews with those who personally knew her. Wandas was born in Belgium, spoke five languages, pioneered her way through the male dominated magic profession, then eventually retired to Detroit. Wandas is also featured on the American Museum of Magic’s 2021 limited edition membership canvas print.

Jania Taylor is an award-winning magician who has been classically trained in the art of prestidigitation. A graduate of the Chavez Studio of Magic, she is the third female in the history of the school to complete the course. She was the first female magician to do a solo tour for Armed Forces Entertainment taking magic and comedy relief to troops and families in Alaska. Taylor has also charmed audiences at such noted resorts as the Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island.
