February—known in Northern Michigan for grey skies and snow. Lots and lots of snow. For many, hibernation calls. But for Short’s, a company known for loving where they live and wild antics, it’s the perfect time to get out and get active.
“The past couple years we’ve used this February campaign to give away tickets to our annual Anniversary party in April, but with the anni party cancelled, we decided to focus on something to get people moving, connect them to the outdoors, and enjoy what their outdoor community has to offer.” Pauline Knighton-Prueter, Sales Director for the brand reports.
So for the shortest month of 2021, the brewery is going big and giving away 28 Adventure Session Prize packs—one for every day of the month—to coincide with their most recent product launch, a session IPA called Lil’ Huma. One Grand Prize valued at over $1,000 includes a Garmin fēnix watch, Cotopaxi hip pack, and tons of sweet Short’s swag. 27 Runner Up prize winners will get everything but the watch.*
“We challenge ourselves (and everyone else!) every Wednesday—Huma Hump Day—to get out and do something awesome. We then celebrate the awesome thing we did with a Huma or now, a Lil’ Huma, our newest year-round flagship brew. Lil’ Huma—touted as being a Lil’ Beer for Big Adventure—clocks in at only 95 calories, 4 carbs (if you’re counting) and only 4.5% ABV. But, more importantly, it’s also big on flavor. It was inspired by the company’s OG IPA—Huma Lupa Licious—a big IPA that’s got an even bigger hop and malt profile.
