Find something for everyone on your list with these great West Michigan stores, downtowns, and special holiday shopping events.

Marshall (South)

Cornwell’s Turkeyville in Marshall is known for its all-turkey menu, but it has a pretty nifty gift shop, too! They go all-out for Christmas, with ornaments and decorations for sale. You can also pick up some canned turkey, gift boxes, fudge, flavored popcorn, and more to send to relatives.

South Haven (South)

South Haven has many unique shops for gifts, clothing, and fun items for your home. The South Haven merchants are working on special and creative ways to make a memorable shopping experience as they decorate in “Storybook” themes with whimsical window displays and fun activities.

Lansing (South)

From winter markets to popup events, Lansing has a number of fun ways to check items off your Christmas list this year! Find locally owned stores to help you Shop Small, Shop Local.

Saugatuck-Douglas (South)

The Saugatuck-Douglas area’s cozy downtown neighborhoods are brimming with one-of-a-kind retail experiences for every person and every price range. Whether you’re interested in art, antiques, fine jewelry, outdoor gear, or Michigan-made gourmet foods, you’ll find it here, along with friendly, small-town service to go with it.

Holland (Central)

If you haven’t finished your holiday shopping yet, what are you waiting for? Luckily for you, Downtown Holland has you covered for all your last-minute gift giving needs! Experience a delightful outdoor European-style market with holiday items, delicious food, and artisan demonstrations at the Holland Kerstmarkt, weekends through December 12th.

Shop and dine in Downtown Holland during the Shopping Jam December 12th-19th and enjoy discounts, promotions, and giveaways at participating businesses.

Downtown Holland will be celebrating the 12 Days of Christmas between Sunday, December 13th and Thursday, December 24th. During this all-new holiday promotion, participating businesses will be giving away hundreds of dollars’ worth of prizes. Make a purchase at any participating business and you can be entered to win a daily giveaway of a $25 gift card or a gift valued at $25. It’s Holland’s way of thanking the community for their support this year.

Sparta (Central)

Are you ready for some Christmas shopping? Shop downtown Sparta between December 3rd and  23rd for your chance to win a Sparta Bucks Shopping Spree. Have your holiday passport punched when you purchase at a participating store for your chance to win $250 in Sparta Bucks. Passports are available for pick-up at the Chamber of Commerce Office. 

Grand Haven (Central)

The Bookman in Grand Haven is extending their hours for your shopping convenience this season. Find books, toys and games from Melissa and Doug, candles made by the Kalamazoo Candle Co., White Mountain Puzzles, and more to complete your gift list. 

Ludington (Central)

Shopping small this holiday season is more important than ever. To help make browsing and shopping easy for you, Ludington has put together an interactive, digital Gift Guide that is filled with hundreds of ideas that you can search based on what you are seeking. There are hundreds of local gift ideas to browse!

Big Rapids (Central)

On December 17th, Big Rapids will be hosting their annual Home for the Holidays event. This annual event is a one-of-a-kind shopping experience in Historic Downtown Big Rapids. Each business will have special discounts on certificates, jewelry, art crafted by Michigan locals, and more! Also make sure to check out their wonderful light displays on their storefronts as they add a little light to the holidays. Visit the Old Pioneer Store and Emporium in Historic Downtown Big Rapids for award-winning gifts, local Michigan products, and treat baskets for that special someone. 

Charlevoix (North)

‘Tis the season for the holiday festivities to begin! On Saturday, December 5th, Charlevoix merchants will be armed with entertainment, samples, snacks, refreshments, special sales, raffles, and more during the Holiday Merchant Open House. Whether you’re shopping for that must-have gift or those little, but necessary stocking stuffers, you can find it all downtown Charlevoix this holiday season. The day also includes a free movie for the kids as well as a hot cocoa contest. Just look for the “Cocoa Trail” posters in the store-front windows to sample and vote for your favorite Hot Chocolate creation.

Marquette (Upper Peninsula)
