Star Line Mackinac Island Ferry Announces Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for New Boat Lift

Star Line Mackinac Island Hydro-Jet, DBA Mackinac Marine Services, will be holding a ribbon cutting and dedication for their new 200 metric ton Marine Travel Lift at Mackinac Marine Services Boat Yard at 225 Stockbridge Street, St. Ignace, on Monday, October 12th as 2:30 pm. The gates will open at 1:45 pm. Ceremony will be open to the public and will be an outdoor event. All are free to attend and witness the unveiling of the lift, name dedication, and ribbon cutting by board members. Michigan’s 1st District U.S. Rep Jack Bergman will be in attendance as well as other dignitaries and officials. Jerry Fetty, CEO, says he is very proud to be unveiling the largest marine travel lift and boat yard in Michigan.
