The Kingman Museum is bringing the museum outdoors! Every Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., there will be a science activity, sidewalk chalk available for drawing, an artifact of the week on display, and gift shop items for sale. Stock up on your astronaut ice cream! Everything will be outside directly in front of the museum.
The artifact of the week will be the two fossil casts of the feathered dinosaur Archaeopteryx, which were created from the two most famous Archaeopteryx fossils known as the Berlin specimen and the London specimen.
The museum building itself will not be open to the public. Social distancing and sanitation procedures will be enforced. Masks will be required due to limited space outside. Donations appreciated! For more information, visit the Summer Science Facebook event.
