Guests Can Now Enjoy Mackinac Island with a Day Trip

Mission Point Resort is providing guests with a new way to enjoy the radiance of Mackinac Island through its first of a kind Day Trip Experience Package. Located just a short stroll or bike ride from downtown, Mission Point’s sprawling lakeside resort boasts the most lakeshore frontage on the island and optimum relaxed atmosphere for dining and recreation.

“We believe time together is precious and the ability to slip away for a day is something we are excited to offer to our community,” said Liz Ware, Vice President of Marketing. “We wanted to be able to provide guests with another option to visit the island, just in case they aren’t able to take time away for
an overnight stay.”

For guests who come to the island to enjoy the wide open spaces and amenities through the Day Trip Experience Package, they’ll receive the following:
● (1) Shepler’s Mackinac Ferry Pass, which offers departures from Mackinaw City and St. Ignace on the mainland
● 1⁄2 day bike rental to explore the beauty of Mackinac Island. Mission Point offers single speed, multi-speed, and tandem bikes
● (1) Round of putt putt at the Greens of Mackinac 18-hole putting course
● $25.00 food credit to Mission Point restaurants

Its Mission Point CARES Cleanliness Plan was developed in accordance with the American Hotel and Lodging Association’s Safe Stay plan.
