Thanks to the great feedback received last month, the Saugatuck Center for the Arts Education Team learned that kids and families are hungry for safe, creative, and fun experiences this summer. The new line-up includes a mix of virtual and outdoor live-instruction camps.
SCA wants to ensure children at the Art Center stay engaged socially and academically this summer, and their creative camp experiences are designed to do just that. The SCA has redesigned our 2020 summer camp programming to align with local, state, and CDC guidelines to provide a safe, play-based learning experience for summer campers.
The SCA is a longstanding community favorite for summer enrichment and exploration. Though camps will operate a little differently this year to ensure camper and instructor safety, they promise it will be fun, playful, creative and original!
Be assured that you and your child’s safety are of the utmost importance. In revising their summer programs, they have adhered to the best practices from local health department, state government, and national leaders in children’s summer programming. Some changes planned to implement this summer include:
Smaller Class Sizes
Increased Spacing Between Campers, and;
Register for 2020 Camps & Classes
SCA is ready to go and excited to have you register beginning today. Live-instruction camps are dependent on clearance from the State (should the State “dial back” gathering guidelines in the future they will comply. If this should happen, all impacted classes would be cancelled; patrons would receive e-notification and be refunded.)
