Grab your lawn chair and head to Festival Square in Downtown Cheboygan for the Summer Concert Series – a free weekly concert in Washington Park. Here you will experience a new band/entertainer every week and enjoy great music in downtown Cheboygan!
Enjoy songs and sailing with a Music Cruise! Board the Tall Ship Manitou out of Traverse City on Wednesday nights, beginning July 25th, for a two hour evening sail and musical entertainment. As you ply the sparkling waters of Grand Traverse Bay, the popular music group “Song of the Lakes” will play lively jigs, chanteys, and ballads of sailing and life on the sea!
Bring the whole family to Music Fest & Rockin’ Rivertown Ride! The Downtown Cheboygan music festival is a free admission, two-day event held the last Friday and Saturday of July which celebrates all types of music in the heart of Downtown Cheboygan.
Outdoor Music in Central West Michigan
There are many reasons to be in Ludington in the heart of summer, and one of them is the very popular Friday Night Live. The streets of downtown are closed to traffic, but open to walking locals and visitors, who can enjoy games, inflatables, food, live music and more! Scheduled for July 24th, July 31st, and August 7th, don’t miss this free, family friendly event!

Feel The Summer Zeel! Zeeland’s outdoor summer concert series, Soundz of Summer, will take place at the beautiful Lawrence Park Bowl. This series is free and features some of the best musical acts in West Michigan! Concerts are every Tuesday evening during the month of July.

Outdoor Music in South West Michigan
Family and friends are welcome to picnic and dance at Music in the Park in Saugatuck. Every Wednesday from 7-9pm in July & August, guests can head to Wicks Park Gazebo on Water Street in Downtown Saugatuck, for this free music event.
The Marshall Blues Fest is a free, family-oriented music and entertainment festival sponsored by the Marshall Downtown Development Authority. The festival will take place in August (date TBD) – rain or shine! There will be a full slate of blues music with a cash bar beer tent with your favorites from the Dark Horse Brewing Company and Dan Henry Distributing. Food vendors will line the street to give you energy to hang all day long!
For an afternoon of non-stop, sizzling blues bands, dancing, wine tasting, grilled food, and summer fun, you’ll want to head to Lemon Creek in Berrien Springs for the Vintage Blues Bash on August 8th. Blues lovers will enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and toe tapping tunes, while sipping a glass of wine on the lawn, or boogie down on the dancefloor. Bring a lawn chair, blanket, and snacks, or enjoy outdoor seating and catered fare. (Outside alcohol is prohibited.)
