The first Farmers Market kicks off Saturday June 6 from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m., in Lake Bluff Park, and will include the sale of jams, honey, hearth-baked breads and fine pastries, perennials, cut flowers, organic vegetables and more.
The 2020 Farmers Market is sponsored by The Boulevard Inn & Bistro. Amy Zapal, executive director of St. Joseph Today said, “We are excited to work with our vendors to be able to safely reopen the St. Joe Farmers market for the 2020 season. Due to COVID-19, this year’s market will have some change, however, we appreciate everyone’s flexibility and patience as we navigate this tricky time.”
Farmers Markets have grown in popularity as the demand for fresh, locally sourced produce and goods has increased. Amy Zapal, executive director of St. Joseph Today said, “The St. Joe Farmers Market will be open Saturdays June 6 through October 10, 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. and is located in Lake Bluff Park.”
