New Exhibition: Significance In The Serendipity by Maggie Bandstra

Maggie Bandstra will be showing her new exhibit of bright, textural, and exuberant oil paintings titled “Significance of the Serendipity” in the Padnos Gallery at the Holland Area Arts Council from May 9-July 11. Due to Covid-19, there is no reception scheduled at this time.

Bandstra says “recognizing the serendipitous events in our mundane lives can create marvelous moments along the path of life.”


Bandstra is attending Savannah College of Art and Design’s online MFA in Painting program and is an art educator. In 2016 she founded the non-profit group The Lakeshore Visual Arts. She holds a BS in Education from Loyola University of Chicago and an MA in Educational Leadership from Michigan State University. Maggie’s studio is in Grand Haven Mi, where she lives with her husband, son, and their dog Nelson.
