Here at Short’s Brewing Company, we have always taken pride in service and community. Therefore, we will do what we have always done when faced with hard times: cling tight (in a socially distant way) to the good humans we love, throw ourselves into hard work and innovation, and continue to foster goodwill. Here’s what that looks like for us:
During this time of uncertainty and change, we are standing by our staff and doing everything we can to keep hours up and people employed. We also launched an “I Support Pub Life” t-shirt. All proceeds from this clothing item will be donated to our staff emergency fund. See below for details and to order.
In order to keep as many employees working as possible, we have our full menu available for carryout every day at the pub from 11 am to 9 pm, as well as an option for delivery to the 49615 zip code. This also includes growler fills and package beer to go. The team is also delivering beer to three communities surrounding the brewery: Antrim, Grand Traverse, and Kalkaska. You can order packaged beer at https://store.shortsbrewing.
We understand that our community is large, and many are vulnerable at this time. If you, or someone you know, are hungry and cannot afford food, we are offering free meals every day. The offerings include pizza, mac and cheese, and soup as long as supplies allow. If you are in need of this service, come to the to-go window at the pub or call at 231-498-2300 to place your order.
We are proud of our community—both greater Antrim as well as our Short’s team—for banding together. Short’s remains proud to serve every good human of our greater community.
Cheers, and stay safe!
