While it always seems like it is a good time to treat yourself to a fancy lunch or dinner, next week definitely will be the BEST time to dine out.
Lakeshore Restaurant Week kicks off next Friday, February 21st through Saturday, February 29th, for nine days of specials and discounts from 21 area restaurants.
“We organized Lakeshore Restaurant Week in order to showcase the marvelous places to eat in Muskegon and surrounding areas,” explained Rich Berry, Director of Sales for Cumulus Radio – the organizers. “There are 21 area restaurants that are participating in Lakeshore Restaurant Week and many of them have put together some incredible menus items designed to impress their customers.”
Menus for each restaurant can be found at muskegonlakeshorerestaurantweek.com.
Unique menu items include a rattle snake taco and an Octopus Ceviche from Rad Dads’ Taco & Tequila Bar in downtown Muskegon – only available during the Lakeshore Restaurant Week.
Lakes 23 Restaurant in Fremont is offering a different lunch special every day for nine days that is NOT on their menu.
And Hamburger Mikey in downtown Muskegon is offering a Muffuletta Burger that includes a hamburger patty, salami, capicola, and a host of other items.
“Many of the restaurants participating in the Lakeshore Restaurant Week have challenged themselves to come up with different ways to stand out from the crowd,” said Berry. “Which is exactly what we hoped they would do.”
“This is the time of year when we need to get out of the house and treat ourselves to a great meal,” Berry concluded. “Hopefully everyone will go out more than a time or two and check things out.”
