Enjoy Film Arts at Oliver Art Center!

Oliver Art Center is celebrating the world of cinema arts by offering free showings of classic films on Tuesdays, once a month, from February to April OAC will host film showings at 6:00pm in the Fisher Classroom. The showings are free, but donations are always welcome. Seating is limited and visitors are allowed to bring their own popcorn.  “We are excited to offer this opportunity again in 2020. The films chosen each have some element of unique cinematic artistry. We hope to share that with the community.” Says Mercedes Michalowski, executive director.

The films to be shown are:

February 18 – A Star is Born (1937) starring Janet Gaynor and Frederic March

March 17 – Road to Bali (1952) starring Bob Hope, Bing Crosby, Dorothy Lamour

April 21 – McLintock! (1963) starring John Wayne and Maureen O’Hara
