Grand Rapids Children’s Museum Wayback When 90’s Party

On Friday, November 15 from 7-10:00 pm, The Grand Rapids Children’s Museum is transforming into the Grand Rapids Grown-Up’s Museum for one night of old-school play for grown-ups only. This Wayback When Party is a throwback to when the museum first opened their doors downtown in the mid-90’s. This special event will feature a pop-up brewery by CityBuilt, local pizza by Franco’s Pizza, and vinyl by DJ Joe Moon. Guests will find lots of GRCM-inspired 90’s nostalgia crafts and activities for grown-ups to experience hands-on play. The Wayback When Party will also have a 90’s swag bag as a prize for the best 90’s outfit.

The Wayback When Party will function as one of the main fundraisers and sources of revenue for the museum. As a non-profit, events like this provide critical funding for ongoing museum operations including exhibits, programs, and outreach. Most importantly, this event will help  continue the mission of building minds through play and ensuring that all children in the community have access to educational, open-ended play.

Tickets: $20 members; $30 non-members. This is a 21+ only event.
