We are now in the official first week of fall and the weather has been great to get out and enjoy some fall activities.
Courtney Sheffer, from the West Michigan Tourist Association, has a few events that might catch your eye in this week’s What’s Happening in Northern Michigan.
Wine And Cheese Tasting | Suttons Bay Tasting Room
How many times have you bellied up to a busy bar for a typical wine tasting?
This guided table service tasting will include six wines chosen to compliment your palate, along with a souvenir glass, an artisan cheese board with house-made crackers, and a special sweet treat.
These tastings are available on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays in September and October.
Jacob’s Corn Maze | Traverse City
Get lost in some fall fun at Jacob’s Corn Maze in Traverse City.
They’re open now, and you can visit the corn maze through early November.
The10-acre maze’s theme is “space exploration” this year, celebrating the 50th anniversary of the moon landing.
While you’re visiting this family friendly farm, make sure to stop by the market or pick your own apples, peaches, and more.
21st Annual Harvest Festival | Antrim County
Celebrate everything Antrim County with Bellaire’s 21st Annual Harvest Festival on Sept. 28.
Experience why Antrim County is “in the heart of it all” with Bellaire’s harvest festival featuring art, flea markets, local brews, tunes, scarecrows, and more.
Zany scarecrows take over the streets of Bellaire, where local businesses compete to win the “best scarecrow” award.
