Magic City EggFest Announces Corn Hole Tournament

Magic City EggFest’s Egg-secutive Director, Tim Taylor, announced today the addition of their first Magic City EggFest Corn Hole Tournament June 6, 2020 sponsored by Pioneer Seeds – Corteva Agrisciences.  The tournament will be held as part of the 2nd Annual Magic City EggFest in Colon, Michigan, and will feature up to 20 corn hole teams competing for cash prizes, trophies and bragging rights.  Custom boards and bean bags will be donated by our newest sponsor, Pioneer Seeds – Corteva Agrisciences,one of the world’s largest suppliers of seed corn.

Teams can sign up on the Magic City EggFest website at or sign up on the day of the event on a first come, first serve basis.  “We are delighted to play an integral part of the 2nd Annual Magic City EggFest”, said Jeff Whitinger, District Sales Leader for Pioneer Seeds – Corteva Agrisciences.  “The corn hole tournament is a great addition to this wonderful outdoor festival and is a testament to the growing popularity for the Magic City EggFest.

Scheduled for June 6, 2020, the 2nd Annual Magic City EggFest is a culinary festival and barbecue competition for enthusiasts of the Big Green Egg, the world’s best-selling kamado-style outdoor grill, oven and smoker.  Teams will compete in three rounds of cooking; ribs, chicken and pizza and compete for trophies and prizes for the best in each category.  Last year’s event showcased 15 cooking teams feeding more than 400 hungry attendees.  New teams and sponsors have already signed up in advance of next year’s event.  To sign up a team, purchase tickets or information on sponsorship, contact Tim Taylor at 773-383-7892 or email at
