Journeyman Distillery to host ‘Comedy on the Rocks’

Comedy on the Rocks returns to Journeyman Distillery by popular demand on Friday, August 16th. Kristen Toomey and Dan West, join host Maxwell Tidey in Journeyman Distillery’s Still Room for a night of laughs.

Featured performer, Dan West, turned to comedy after deployment injuries prematurely ended his time in the Army. A veteran with a story to tell, West began traveling the country sharing his message of overcoming adversity through humor.

Headliner Kristen Toomey is an energetic and expressive Chicago favorite, not afraid to speak her mind. A founding member of the Hoo-Ha Comedy Troupe, Kristen has appeared on Kevin Hart’s LOL Network, WGN Radio 720, and NPR’s The 21st—as well as stages across the country.

The evening of laughs will be hosted by Journeyman’s very own, Maxwell Tidey. As a house manager at The Drop Comedy Club in South Bend, Max has worked alongside national touring comics. He brings charm and wit to the stage and says he stands up to comedy by simply being himself —”in the best and worst of ways.”

‘Comedy on the Rocks’ has been a hot ticket in Michigan’s Harbor Country, consistently selling out Journeyman’s intimate Still Room. The fun-filled, laughter-packed night of stand-up will take place on Friday August 16th at 8:00 PM. Admission is $20 per person.
