The Michigan Maritime Museum would like to invite one and all to join them at their Annual Fish Boil Fundraiser. This annual event is a fundraiser for the Museum where local organizations and business come together to donate everything from the food to the utensils. 100% of the proceeds help the Museum!
The menu features fresh caught fish provided generously through South Haven’s Star of the Lake Masonic Lodge fishing tournament. Other sponsors include Clementine’s, Phoenix Street Café, Barden’s Farm Market, and McDonald’s. Included alongside the authentic traditional fish boil of fish, potatoes, and onions, there will be dinner rolls, coleslaw, and a light summer beverage. Of course, dessert will be the delicious Lindy Lou ice cream by Sherman’s Dairy- a creamy vanilla ice cream with dark chocolate and cherry pieces swirled in- a sweet rendition of our Lindy Lou river launch cruise. We will also have a cash bar featuring local craft beer from the South Haven Brew Pub. “It’s a great event all around,” says Executive Director Patti Montgomery Reinert. “Celebrating maritime heritage in a traditional way in an authentic setting, all while helping out a local non-profit. We are grateful to all of our sponsors and volunteers who help to make this event happen.” Music, games, and a 50/50 raffle will all be part of the festivities. The event will be held 5pm to 8pm (or until the fish runs out!) on Saturday, July 13 th , 2019 on the beautiful campus of the Michigan Maritime Museum.
