Summer Happenings in Coldwater Country

The summer season is synonymous with festival season, and Coldwater Country is the place to be for fantastic festivals and fun! Conveniently located in south-central Michigan, the area is known for the 100+ lakes including two chains of lakes, a historic steam engine train, drive-in movies, and more! This summer make your way to Coldwater Country for one of these upcoming events:

50th Annual Bronson Polish Festival, July 18-20, 2019

This 3-day event kicks off with fireworks and an opening ceremony, complete with door prizes and crowning of Polish Royalty. Authentic Polish food and music, a parade, a Polish wedding reception, crafts, talent show, car show, pancake breakfast, sports (Corn Hole, Pure Pro Wrestling, 5K) and more!

 

Art Walk, Downtown Coldwater, July 20, 2019

The celebration starts with crafts and fun during the Farmer’s Market and the Tibbits Popcorn Theatre in the morning. Stay for the day with the Artwalk Art Show, Kids Zone, and Antiques/Vintage Market. Close the evening with a concert at Tibbits Opera House.

Tommy Brandt at Hidden Ponds Horse Rescue, July 26, 2019

Five-time Male Vocalist of the Year, Tommy Brandt, performs at Hidden Ponds Horse Rescue. This evening fundraiser is for Hidden Ponds Horse Rescue, where horses and people have a second chance. Hidden Ponds is dedicated to rescuing horses and adoptions.

 

Branch County Fair, August 4-10, 2019

Join the thousands of fair goers at the annual Branch County 4-H Fair! Farm animals, crafts, carnival rides and fair food are abundant at the fair. The excitement of the demolition derby, combine derby, mud bogs, truck & tractor pulls and car soccer round out the week!

82nd Annual Magic Get Together, August 7-10, 2019

Magic in the streets, the restaurants, the shops and on stage…magic everywhere at the annual celebration. The event includes lectures, junior/senior talent contests, close-up shows, ladies events, craft show and a Magic Minister’s Session.

 

Michigan’s Longest Antiques, Collectibles and Treasures Sale, August 9-11, 2019

Set along the historical US-12 Heritage Route…all 212 miles from New Buffalo to Detroit, including Michigan’s Coldwater Country. Each year this event draws more as individuals and families discover the wonderful treasurers found along the US-12 Heritage Route.
