Michele’s Rescue is pleased to announce Pet.A.Pawlooza will be coming to Grand Rapids, Saturday July 27, 2019. This is the 4th annual Pet.A.Pawlooza event, however the 1st in Kent County.
Pet.A.Pawlooza is a collaborative community event promoting education, resources & adoptions. There are over 35 vendors that are made up of shelters, rescues, wildlife rehabs, veterinarians, boarders, groomers & pet related products.
“The event is going to be a huge step in building relationships and educating our community on licensing, vaccinations, spaying & neutering,” explains Michele Schaut, owner of Michele’s Rescue.
Many vendors will have items available for sale. Pot Belly Sandwiches will be onsite selling food. There will be pets available for adoption. At this time, public pets are asked to stay home.
The event will also include a silent auction that will raise money for a spay/neuter program.
Pet.A.Pawlooza will be held at The US Army Reserve Center – 3870 3 Mile Rd NW, Grand Rapids, MI.
Michele’s Rescue is a 501(c)3 non-profit animal rescue that was founded in 1997. We are a no kill rescue that takes in and adopts out animals from all over the country. Most of the animals we take in are in line to be “put-down” and need rescues like ours to help them find a happy and loving home. These animals are vaccinated, microchipped, treated for parasites and fleas, heartworm tested and most importantly spayed/neutered. The only thing wrong with our animals is that they are without a family.
