The Mt. Pleasant Area Convention and Visitors Bureau (MPACVB) is excited to announce the 100 Days of Summer for 2019. The blog features more than 100 events and activities to enjoy in the Mt. Pleasant area from now until September.
“At the MPACVB we look forward to sharing the area’s events and activities with people so they can have the best experience while visiting,” said Chris Rowley, Executive Director of the MPACVB, “The 100 Days series on our
blog has become a great resource for not only our visitors but also the local community.”
The MPACVB’s 100 Days blog series is featured every season, providing unique things to do in the Mt. Pleasant area. The 100 Days of Summer features concerts, sporting events, free family activites and local places to visit such as museums, farmers’ markets, restaurants, parks and more. The blog can be found on the www.meetmtp.com.
The MPACVB encourages people to share photos of themselves living the 100 Days on social media by using #MtP100Days and #meetmtp to be featured on the MPACVB social channels. In addition, the MPACVB also asks the featured businesses to promote their activity or event each week.
“The 100 Days has become a huge hit! We are excited to see people sharing photos of themselves living the 100 Days and we hope to see the community and visitors truly enjoying themselves in Central Michigan this summer,” said Angela Martin, Digital Marketing Coordinator with the MPACVB.
The MPACVB is a destination marketing and management organization for Mt. Pleasant and Isabella County. The MPACVB also operates Michigan’s Central Swing, a program designed for stay and play golf packages, and the Mt. Pleasant Sports and Entertainment Commission.
