Don’t miss the Lake Bluff Artisan Faire, an annual craft fair in Lake Bluff Park, St Joseph, Saturday, June 1st 10am-5pm! Enjoy gorgeous views while shopping a variety unique hand-crafted, homemade goods such as home décor, furniture, jewelry, candles and clothing. The following day, Antiques on the Bluff, June 2nd 10:00 am-5:00 pm is held along tree lined Lake Bluff Park, overlooking Lake Michigan. This antique show is a premier event for St. Joseph and antiquers around Southwest Michigan!

Going to the downtown Farmers Market used to be limited to the treat of selecting your own ripe, succulent fruits and vegetables. Things have changed! Saturday morning at the St Joseph Farmer’s Market now includes jams, honey, hearth-baked breads and fine pastries, perennials, cut flowers, organic vegetables and so much more!  The Market is help 9”00 am-2:00 pm each Saturday in June.

With a balanced look at the ‘joys’ of growing older, through a cast of three men and three women, MIDLIFE CRISIS The Musical strikes a chord with anyone regardless of age. A series of scenes and sketches poke fun at the frustrations of mammograms, love handles, weekend warriors and proctology exams. Also celebrated are forgetfulness, reading glasses and menopause. This hilarious romp will entertain all ages.  Staged at Cornwell’s Dinner Theater in Marshall through June 29th, contact the box office for dates, times and cost. Enjoy a delicious turkey dinner with all the trimmings before the show.

After a sold-out chef/winemaker dinner last June, Hickory Creek Winery in Buchanan has decided to do it again!  This year teaming up with The Peasant’s Pantry to host an intimate dinner at the winery.  The event, June 7th, kicks off with a welcome wine at 6:30 pm and features a six course dinner; each course masterfully curated by Michael Faltum to pair with the newest HCW wine releases.

Stop in the Swap Meet & Flea Market Friday, June 7th and Saturday, June 8th at the Michigan Flywheelers Museum in South Haven. The event, which is a fundraiser for the museum, features close to 160 sellers with everything from antiques to baked goods.

Festival of the Arts, June 7, 8, and 9, in downtown Grand Rapids, celebrates 50 years of community art, music, dance and food!

Celebrate northern Michigan wine and food in Leland June 8th for the annual Leland Wine & Food Festival! Enjoy local award-winning wines from 12 Leelanau Peninsula Wineries & one local brewery, specialties from eight local food vendors and the beautiful views of Lake Michigan and the Manitou Islands from Leland Harbor. Dance to live music all day and explore nearby Leland shops and beaches.

National Cereal Festival takes place June 8th in Battle Creek. Celebrate the birthplace of cereal with an all-you-can-eat cereal bar! There will be cereal, vendors, music and ends with the National Cereal Festival Parade.

Party with Southwest Michigan’s beer, wine, and spirits makers at Bridgman’s Weko Beach June 8 at the Makers Trail Festival. Enjoy beer, wine, and spirits tastings from over 30 different Southwest Michigan makers, local food, and live music all with a Lake Michigan view. Tickets are $10 in advance or $20 at the gate.

The Mt. Pleasant Craft Beer Festival is scheduled for June 8th. Featuring the greatest brews throughout the state of Michigan, attendees will sample everything from beer to cider and mead. The Mt. Pleasant Craft Beer Festival is a celebration of the beer culture in Central Michigan and focuses on bringing the beer community together, including brew masters, brewery representatives, restaurant owners, managers, and chefs.

The five Cumulus Radio stations of Muskegon are excited to be organizing and hosting the inaugural Muskegon Summer Wine Up festival on Saturday, June 8th, 2019 at Hackley Park. In addition to a variety of wine vendors from Michigan, the United States and all over the world, patrons will also be treated to wine seminars, a Mystery Wine contest, and more.

Spring Lake Heritage Festival, June 10th-15th. This annual summer event in Spring Lake, Michigan is a wonderful opportunity to spend quality time with family and friends.

Rockford Start of Summer Celebration, June 13th – 16th.  Carnival, live entertainment, parade, food & craft vendors, fireworks, outdoor movie, children’s activities, and more.

Lansing’s Juneteenth Celebration & African American Parade commemorates the end of slavery in the United States by celebrating the joys of liberty, educating the community about African-American heritage and promoting positive cultural interaction. This three-day event, occurring June 13-15, includes music, dance, entertainment, educational exhibits, children’s activities, a health fair, and parade! This year, they’re celebrating more than 25 years in the Lansing area.

Michigan Pride March, Rally, and Festival, June 14 and 15 in downtown Lansing, is a statewide celebration of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer community and allies. The festival kicks off Friday night with the White Party. Saturday, take part in a march to the Capitol, a rally on the Capitol lawn, then head to Old Town for the festival, complete with all-ages entertainment, vendors, and a beverage tent.

HarborFest Hosts Mermaid MegaFest in downtown South Haven, June 14th and 15th. Enjoy water events including dragon boat races, craft fair, kids’ activities and rides, great music, and visit the merfolk gathered along the South Pier!

June 14th-16th brings the Great Lakes Rodeo in Marquette! Each year, on Father’s Day weekend, the Great Lakes Rodeo creates a weekend of fun and excitement for the entire family. Whether you enjoy watching the cowboys attempt to ride a bull or get a good laugh from the rodeo clown, the Great Lakes Rodeo has something for you.

Get ready for the M88 Market Tour, a 26-mile Antrim county wide community outdoor market sale June 15th. The villages of Mancelona, Bellaire, Central Lake, and Eastport, as well as homes along the M88 route, will offer sidewalk sales, garage sales, arts & crafts, antiques, and more. Various locations will offer pop-up booth venues for local vendors. Market shoppers can drive M88 from any direction to shop, eat and explore. Market maps will be available at designated locations and a grand prize drawing will be held.

Spirit of the Woods Folk Festival takes place at Dickson Township Park in Brethren in Manistee County on June 15th. The festival features a day full of music on two stages, arts and crafts vendors, children’s activities, great food, and a closing dance.

Explore the White Lakes Arts & Crafts Festival June 15th-16th. This juried arts and crafts festival features continuous entertainment, a food court, and over 75 booths. Purchase items for the garden, clothing, paintings and prints, folk art, leather goods, floral designs, stained glass, signs, children’s toys, and bath items.

The seventh annual Lansing Beer Fest, June 15th, is an outdoor beer festival on Washington Ave. in REO Town featuring 20 Michigan breweries and 100+ craft beers. Also find cider, spirits, giant games, live music, vendors and more!

The 27th annual Oldsmobile Homecoming, a car show and swap meet for all Oldsmobile and Oldsmobile-powered vehicles, will be held June 15th in Lansing. The event will celebrate the 1962-1963 Jetfire, built by Oldsmobile.

Local author Patricia Polacco comes to the Mitten Word Bookshop 114 West Michigan Avenue, Marshall, on Saturday, June 15th from 3:00 pm-5:00 pm for a book signing.

Barden’s Farm Market in South Haven will be hosting a Strawberry Social June 15th and 16th

Enjoy The Summer Solstice Jazz Festival, June 21st and 22nd, a free two-day music festival in the heart of downtown East Lansing, featuring the best in local, regional and national talent, children’s activities, a traditional New Orleans-style Second Line Parade, and more. Presented by the City of East Lansing, and the MSU College of Music, with artistic direction by Rodney Whitaker.

Whether you bike, run, or hike, come out to celebrate the trails at Marquette Trails Festival June 21st-23rd!  All proceeds from the event go to support and maintain Marquette’s singletrack trails.

The Cheetah Chase is one of the most unique 5k events in Michigan and a favorite at Binder Park Zoo. Runners of all ages and abilities complete a 5k, covering two continents—sprinting all the way to “Africa” and back. Kangaroos wolves and giraffes will be on-hand to watch participants race through the Zoo, whether in the 5k Gazelle Gallop or the 5K Sloth Walk. Put your running shoes on for June 22nd.

Strawberry pies, strawberry shortcake, and fresh strawberries are the real draw to the Strawberry Festival June 22nd in downtown Coldwater, but the wonderful crafters have handmade candles, jewelry, yard ornaments, furniture and more.

On Saturday, June 22nd, head to downtown Grand Rapids for Founders Fest 2019 :: A Celebration of Beer and Music. Now in its 12th year, Founders Fest continues to bring together the tastiest beer with the finest artists from around the country, and the world.

Head to Lansing for the Three Stack Music Festival on June 22nd. Taking over the art-friendly REO Town neighborhood, Three Stacks takes place in the shadow of the iconic smokestacks of the Eckert Power Plant, which dominate the Lansing skyline from every direction.

Join Leelanau Studios in Traverse City for Planet of the Grapes, a fun afternoon on Saturday, June 22nd, from 3:00 to 8:00 pm at the Grand Traverse Regional Campus Festival Lawn. Indulge in local wines, brews and foods while grooving to live musical performances by Soul Patch, Levi Britton and more! Comedy performances include Norm Stulz (HBO, ComedyCentral). Holland PRIDE Festival takes place June 22nd at Centennial Park. Live entertainment, food vendors, booths staffed by area businesses and organizations, a silent auction, and LGBTQ and ally fellowship! Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult

Brave the Wave: Adaptive Wakesurf Tour 2019, June 23rd at Action Wake Park. Hanger Clinic and Tommy’s Boats & Watersports Professionals are bringing this free Adaptive Wakesurf Tour to Mona Lake Boat Club! This event is for individuals with a range of physical disabilities. You will be provided all necessary equipment needed for participation.

Forest Hills Public Schools presents Matilda the Musical at the Forest Hills Fine Arts Center, in Grand Rapids, June 27th, 28th & 29th at 7:00 pm, June 29th at 3:00 pm

Head to Lansing June 27-30th for the 20th annual Common Ground Music Festival. See some of the best rock, pop, country, and hip-hop stars in the world take the stage in downtown Lansing along the Grand River in a setting unlike any other.

Corsets, Whips & Whiskey, Journeyman Distillery’s annual summer party in Three Oaks, features live music, craft cocktails, a cookout menu, and a bottle release of their single-grain, cask strength, “Corsets, Whips & Whiskey.” Play cornhole, compete for prizes on their 18 hole “Welter’s Folly” putting course, and enjoy family, friends, and neighbors. The party begins June 29th at 11:30 am and lasts until 10:00 pm. Admission is free and open to all ages!

Lace up your sneakers and get ready to walk a Michigan landmark. The annual International Bridge Walk, June 29th in Sault Ste Marie, takes an easy pace and provides spectacular views of the twin Saults, the St. Marys River rapids, and the Soo Locks. Young and old, physically fit and fitness challenged, all enjoy the fantastic views and the resulting pictures that will last a lifetime. Best of all, there’s no admission fee, no long waits, and no sweltering heat to contend with since the walk steps off at 9:30 am.

Visit Grand Haven June 29th and 30th for the Grand Haven Art Festival, featuring 100 one-of-a-kind artists, live music, local food vendors.  Family Fun Day (free arts & crafts for kids) on Saturday from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm. GHAF is ranked as a top 20 art festival in the country by Sunshine Artist Magazine.

Spend an afternoon in South Haven at the 61st Annual Art Show June 29th and 30th, a two-day juried festival featuring the work of more than 120 talented artists. The fair offers a unique blend of fine and functional artwork in acrylics, oils, watercolors, pastels, drawing, sculpture, photography, metal, glass, wood, clay and wearable art.
